Dr. Tamer ElSerafi is a practicing architect and assistant professor of architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. He obtained his undergraduate studies, M.Sc. in Architecture, as well as Ph.D. in Architecture from Cairo University in the years 2008, 2012, 2017. From 2007 to 2012, he participated, voluntarily, in the Heritage Conservation Committee in Port Said Governorate. During 2012, he was an active member in the Committee of Heritage Areas of Portfouad. Since 2017, He is the program coordinator 3 of the Architectural Engineering and Technology Program, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. In addition, he is interested in his researches in the fields of urban conservation, heritage, and urban mobility.
